I took my son Elijah Elvis to Toys"R"Us on his birthday because I had a feeling the stores wouldn't be around much longer. A couple days later Toys"R"Us announced they were closing all their stores. I really wanted him to get the Toys"R"Us experience like I had when I was a kid. As expected he loved it! It was hard to keep him moving along to see the rest of the store. As soon as we walked in he was wanting to buy the first thing he saw with his gift card from Grammy & Grampy. It made me wonder how my parents managed to take my two brothers and I when we were kids and manage to keep up moving along while they were Christmas shopping. One of the first things I remember my parents buying me at Toys"R"Us is an Ouija board and the Sega Genesis game console with Alter Beast! Heck, I still have that Sega game console in a box in my basement.
