Jacksonville's Own Woody McClain to Star in The Bobby Brown Story

Jacksonville's own Woody McClain is reprising his roll as Bobby Brown BET's newest mini series, The Bobby Brown Story

We first saw McClain take on the roll as Bobby Brown in three-part mini series, The New Edition Story, which was a biography of the famous R&B group. It was only a matter of time before Bobby got his own series and the time has finally come. McClain took on the persona of Bobby Brown and performed his heart out, the same way Bobby would have.

McClain attended Robert E. Lee High School where he participated in the marching band before becoming a part of the Marching 100 at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.

Since his roll in the first mini series, we've been able to see more of his acting as he has teamed up with Kevin Hart to create "Stories With Kev," where McClain reenacts many of our favorite Kevin Hart stories.

The Bobby Brown Story is airing on BET September 4th and 5th. Check your local listing for times.
