Burger King is savage for this one. Over the years Burger King has thrown shade at the President, IHOP, and even Miss Wendy, but this time they went straight for America's centerpiece of fast food: McDonald's.
Their strategy this time is is to "outsize it's competition". They are mocking McDonald's with their new cheeseburger that has some striking similarities to the Big Mac, but has 175% more beef. The Burger King XL features more than a half pound flame-grilled beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a savory sauce packed between two sesame seed buns.
Until January 31st, Grubhub users can can try the burger for free, and have it delivered for free as well, by ordering via the app. There is a limit to one for free per delivery, BUT you have to make a grubhub order of three dollars or more to get the free sandwich.
