Alcohol, Coffee Linked to Longer Life, Study Finds

A new study finds that people who drink moderate amounts of alcohol or coffee actually live longer than those who don't.

Researchers at the UC Irvine Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders began their 90+ study back in 2003 to dive into what makes people live to the age 90 and beyond.

They used over 14,000 people over the age of 90 and found that those who drank moderate amounts of alcohol or coffee lived longer than those who didn't.

The study also found that those who were a little more overweight in their 70s lived longer than those who were underweight.

Cheers!
